About Scott Stuart, PA-C

Scott Stuart, PA, is excited to continue the tradition of superior patient-centered care at Idaho Skin Institute in Burley and Twin Falls, Idaho.

Scott is from South East Idaho where he has lived the majority of his life. He was born and raised in Pocatello where he graduated from and was active in basketball and football at Highland Senior High School.

Scott attended Idaho State University as a pre-medical major. As life presented some change, he went to work for the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office where he served the community for twelve years in several capacities. During this time, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University, Kansas in Justice Studies, and followed up with a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies and Criminal Justice also from Fort Hays State University.

After completing his first two degrees, Scott continued working for the Sheriff’s office as he decided to return to his first love, medicine. He returned to Idaho State and completed two more years of pre-requisite course work to allow him to apply to Physician Assistant programs.

Upon completion of the required course work, Scott was accepted to Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. He and his family moved to Southern California for his medical training where he earned a second Master’s degree in Medical Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies.

When the opportunity presented, he and his family returned to what they call home, Idaho. Scott is very excited to be part of the Mini-Cassia community and to be able to serve the great people of Idaho as a Certified Physician Assistant in both English and Spanish. Scott has trained with Dr. Earl Stoddard, Dr. Coby Bingham, Dr. Trevor Batty, and Ryan McCulloch PA-C. He is a Diplomate with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Dominican Republic. He returned and married his high school sweetheart Brittany. They have two beautiful daughters. He loves more than anything, spending time with his wife and girls. They enjoy all things outdoors from horses, water sports, snow skiing, running and exercising, or just being outside together in beautiful Idaho.
