Trevor Batty, DO, is a general dermatologist at Idaho Skin Institute in Chubbuck, Idaho.

Dr. Batty grew up in Vernal, Utah, and while attending Uintah High School, he simultaneously earned an Associate’s Degree from Utah State University. Following high school, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Curitiba, Brazil. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University, he graduated medical school from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona at the top of his class as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi. 

Dr. Batty completed his dermatology residency in South Florida at Broward Health Medical Center, where he diagnosed and treated a wide variety of patients, providing him ample exposure to diverse pathology in various clinical settings. Treating inflammatory skin conditions as well as studying early detection and management of skin cancer methods are some of his interests.

He believes in treating patients like family and providing education in order to empower patients to achieve optimal outcomes. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He also speaks Portuguese and Spanish. 

When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Batty playing basketball, watching BYU athletics or the Utah Jazz, grilling or cooking in the kitchen, and spending time with his wife Whitney and their three daughters.
